This guide will show how to encode a video file with a script.

Steps:
1) Have encoding files ready.
You will need a video file and a script file to go along with the video.

You can create your own scripts or get them from this forum.

2) Download and install Microsoft Expression Encoder 4.

3) Download and install RT Encoder (program attached below).
Open RT Encoder and encode your video.

FAQ:
1) What video files are supported?
MP4, MPG, AVI, WMV.

2) What if my video doesn't encode?
First install a codec pack. Download and install K-Lite Basic Codec Pack. (Don't install the optional free junk software).
Klite Basic Codec download link.

If you are still having issue then the codec of your video is not compatible, and you will have to re-encode the video.
There are 2 methods:

[list]A) Method 1: Slower Encoding Time and Good Quality. Free.
Handbrake Encoding Guide.

3) Where are the encoded videos saved?
The default directory is c:\output.

4) I see some scripts have 2 script files. What do I do?
Those particular videos have too many RT movements so they had to be split into two script files.

You must do two encoding. You would encode the first script then do it again for the second script. The result is you will have two video files. The first video will have RT movements in the first half, and the second video will have RT movements in the second half.

You can take it one step further and cut out the portion that doesn't have any RT movements in each video using AimOne (paid program). This will save space on your hard drive.

5) What are the system requirements to use RT Encoder?
Windows XP, Vista, NT, 7 and Java 1.6 or higher, and Microsoft Expression Encoder 4.

6) What's the max commands supported in the script file?
20k commands is the max, but we recommend the script to be no more than 10k commands, or it will cause issues. If your script is greater than 10k commands, we suggest you split up the script to multiple scripts.

You can also use script files without encoding. Look at the guide here.
