Has anyone gotten the offline to work? I tried doing the steps someone else posted recently but when I try to open the video on my phone it doesn't register that the App is a video player (On a Pixel right now):

Step 1: Download the FeelVR content file you purchased.

Step 2: Download VR video:
Find and download the VR video from the corresponding website. This sale does not include the VR video. The buyer needs to have an active subscription to be able to acquire the video.

Step 3: Download and install "FeelVR" App to your smart phone if you have not done so.
Connect your Fleshlight Launch to FeelVR by following the instrutions given by feelme.com
Link: https://feelmehelp.zendesk.com/…/115002707069-How-do-I-conn…

Step 4: Rename and copy files
The names of the video file and the content file must match.
Video File: XXX.mp4
Content File: XXX.mp4.meta
The text that "XXX" represents must be identical.
Copy both files to the folder "Phone>FeelVR>Video" in your smart phone.

Step 5: Turn on Fleshlight Launch, run FeelVR app, and make sure they are connected through bluetooth. Play the downloaded video in the FeelVR App.

Quick Edit: I like the videos they produce but their website is so flipping slow on any device it makes it infuriating to use. I would like to get a 2nd way of viewing/downloading/using these videos with the Launch instead of being forced to use them with my phone.

Going to quote Qdot here:

Syncydink will play both FeelMe and VirtualRealPlayer haptics files alongside movies in your browser, locally in your web browser, even on a phone.

Player at https://buttplug.world/syncydink

Tutorial for getting it to sync up with hardware using Buttplug at https://metafetish.club/t/tutorial-sync ... 0170821/82

This way, you won't have to use your Phone.

Btw, the Website works flawless for me (Europe)(not subscribed).

I've seen that post earlier and to my knowledge and testing the Meta files from VRP do not send the proper signal to the Launch unless I did something wrong.

I used the Converted scripts topic and the same video. Will look into if Meta can run the Launch via Syncydink or just funscript.

I can confirm I'm also unable to play meta files with the Launch via Syncdink.

justinsroy - I might have figured out our dilemma in the FeelVR app: the name of the movie has to be in a field in the .meta file.

1. Open up the .meta file in a text editor.
2. Ensure the value for "file" is the name of the mp4.

Thank you for input.

I've tried a few things. Uploaded handful of screenshots to show that I've done what I thought was necessary.

https://imgur.com/a/6syBE

[VideoName].mp4 is same as [VideoName].mp4.meta file and trying to open video with "Open_With" brings up "Photos only" (the default Pixel player).
In this test I just grabbed a quick video which is VRP-Dance_lesson.mp4 (with proper punctuation/capitalization).

Both files are currently in local storage->FeelVR->Video.

Current Metafile footer with information:

"name":"Better than a cheesecake",
"description":"Imported subtitle",
"created":"2017-03-21T16:02:41.699220"},
"format":"MONO_360",
"file":"VRP-Dance_lesson.mp4",
"source":"https://videocdn.feelme.com/transcoded/2017/03/21/dd2dbd91-fedc-47cf-8109-85316e3b5f60/VRP-Dance_lesson.mp4",
"downloadComplete":true
}
